The course is delivered through three two-hour sessions, with additional material for learners to complete between sessions.

  • Challenges with using an A3. 
  • Common A3 pitfalls. 
  • When and when not to use an A3. 
  • The Frank five-step A3 method:
  • Step one: Decide the purpose of your A3.

Session two

  • Step two: Select your content. 
  • Presenting quantitative information: Choosing the right chart or graph for your A3
  • Step three: Draft your layout.
Session three 
  • Step four: Design your A3 using Power Point. 
  • Step five: Adjust the content within your layout. 
  • Design basics using PowerPoint: 
  • Slide size. 
  • Space and alignment. 
  • Diagrams. 
  • Charts and Graphs. 
  • Icons. 
  • Font. 
  • Colour.
